Police Detail Horrific Child Abuse Allegations:

Reason to Blow Up the World...

KOKOMO, Ind. -- Two children endured horrific treatment at the hands of their mothers and two other people at a Kokomo home, police said.

Officers went to the home Monday after the mother of one of the children complained that she wasn't allowed to see her daughter.

Police said they found two 4-year-old children in the home suffering from multiple injuries and open wounds.

According to the Kokomo Police Department, the children were abused daily in the home. They were frequently beaten, bound and kept in a closet -- one of them for three weeks.

Police said the children had been attached to items with zip ties to restrict their movement and were forced to stand in corners, sometimes overnight.

Water and food were also kept from the children for long periods of time, according to officers.

Donald Hawk, 33, Madeline Hawk, 42, Jennifer Leonard, 36, and Melissa Chandler, 30, each face felony neglect charges.

Madeline Hawk was also charged with battery. Leonard and Chandler were also charged with inducing or causing battery.

There's always something inanely creepy about more than two adults from the same generation living in the same house. It makes you almost expect stories like this.

One point for the beatings, another for the starvation, one more for using zip ties on the children, another point for the mental abuse, and one last point for having a set of mugshots that would make Dick Tracy cringe. If you don't get that reference get the hell off my lawn. That's five.

Police: Woman Starved, Tortured Young Niece:

MIAMI -- A woman is accused of starving and torturing her 7-year-old niece for whom she was supposed to be caring.

Felicia Watkins, 37, is charged with multiple counts of child abuse. She appeared before a judge Thursday in Miami.

Miami police said they were first notified after the girl's teacher noticed her fingers were swollen to the point that she could not hold a pencil.

Police said Watkins, who works in the cafeteria at Miami Beach High School, repeatedly abused her niece inside the Liberty City apartment she shared with her husband.

"The aunt confesses and says this was all a part of discipline and punishment," Miami police spokesman Delrish Moss said. "So she seemed to think her actions were pretty normal. She was rather cavalier about it."

Police said Watkins squeezed the girl's fingers with pliers, whipped her with an electrical cord and starved her to the point that she weighed just 48 pounds.

The girl came to live with her aunt and uncle after her mother was arrested, accused of killing the girl's father.

Any thing I say can't be said any better than the way impqueen said it.

One point for the pliers, another for the electrical cord, one more for starving the kid, another for being so nonchalant about it, one more point for that hair, and one last point for the fact that this poor kid comes from such a screwed up family. That's six.

Reason to Blow Up the World:It's not bad enough that the woman tried to sell her 18-month-old child for sex but when the police came to check on the child they found the mother passed out and the child eating cigarettes. Lending further credence to the idea that parents should have to take a test before having any children.

North Carolina

Mother charged with murder after 8-year-old dies in trunk:
Reason to Blow Up the World: That a woman would lock her 8-year-old son in a car trunk for more than 16 hours because of a "baby sitting issue". Here's a tip. If you can't find a sitter then don't go.

Texas

Man charged in death of 11-year-old in Dallas:
Reason to Blow Up the World: The fact that not only any 33-year-old man would want to have sex with an 11-year-old girl but also that he had to kill her over it. What makes it worse is that the killer was a guest in the house where the victim was attending a sleepover. Notice the terms "trailer" and "mobile home park" in the article.

Rape Victim's Mom Sent Nude Pics to Suspect:
Reason to Blow Up the World: Not only did the mother of the rape victim send nude photos of the victim to the rapist the victim is only 13-years-old. What large chunk of your brain needs to be missing for someone to think that selling kiddie porn of your own daughter was a good idea? Fucking morons.

Police: 3-Year-Old Looked Like Living Skeleton:
Reason to Blow Up the World: That any human would think that they have any reason to starve a 3-year-old boy. Look at the picture of the house in the article. This isn't exactly Cracktown or Meth Acres we're talking. To make it worse the father of the child failed to report the abuse.

Chicago Woman Charged With Kidnapping, Dumping Baby:
Reason to Blow Up the World: Not only because the woman had the baby kidnapped right out of it's mother's arms so she could keep her trucker boyfriend around but when she changed her mind she didn't return the baby to a hospital or a police station but she dumped the baby in a trashcan. And what idiot would risk a prison term for felony kidnapping for $3000 split two ways?

California

Woman arrested with 2 children in trunk:
Reason to Blow Up the World: Again I ask what piece of their brains are these people missing? It must be Trunk Day or something. Anyway the reason is why would you try and cram 9 people in a Corrolla for a 60-mile trip let alone putting two of those people who are children in the trunk? Here's another tip for ya. If you can't find safe transportation then don't go.
