95-Year-Old Woman Raped, Beaten; Wilmington Man Arrested:

WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Wilmington police have arrested a man suspected of raping a 95-year-old woman inside her home in the city's historic district.
Brian Anthony Reavis, 41, of Wilmington, was arrested Wednesday night. Charges against Reavis include rape, kidnapping and burglary. He is being held on $1 million bond at the New Hanover County jail.
The woman was attacked April 12 as she picked up a newspaper on her front porch.
Police said the man pushed his way inside and demanded money. The woman gave him $20 sitting on a table. Then the man forced her upstairs to get her purse, raped her and beat her, severely injuring her eye, police said.

Police in Charlotte arrested a man in the murder of a 92-year-old grandmother.
Mildred Clontz was returning from church Sunday night when police said a man followed her into her home, stabbed her, then stole her purse.
Police did not say much about the man they arrested Thursday, and asked Eyewitness News not to release his name because they believe he might be linked to other crimes. Investigators said he got out of jail a year ago.
"We can tell you the suspect is a career criminal and his history includes serving 20 years in prison for armed robbery," said Maj. Herald Medlocke.

MOUNT AIRY, N.C. -- A Mount Airy man has been arrested and charged with raping two girl ages nine and four.
Patrick Towe, 37, was charged with three counts of first-degree rape of a child and first-degree sex offense with a child.
Investigators said one of Towe's alleged victims told her mother about an incident, and the mother called police.
How they let this scumbag out on only $50K bond is beyond me.
The state wrapped him up in a nice little package for me though. One point for each count against him which is 4, and I'll tack one one for such a creepy ass mugshot for a total of 5.

WEDDINGTON, N.C. -- A mother killed her daughter and then herself in their Weddington home late last week, authorities said after discovering their bodies on Monday.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office was asked to do a well-being check at a home in the Weddington Woods community just after 4 p.m. Monday. When an officer arrived, he found 34-year-old Christa Higgins Childester dead in the attic and the body of her 9-year-old daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Higgins, in her bed in an adjoining bedroom.
Authorities have not said how the two were killed, but they said the deaths happened on Friday. They said the woman left notes detailing the crime and specific instructions on how her personal affairs should be handled.
Det. Kevin Rogers, the lead investigator in the case, said Childester had been distraught lately due to personal problems. He said she divorced last year, had financial troubles and was unemployed.

Following up on the 'fetus-eater" story from the 6/15/05 News of Doom, according to World Net Daily the abortionist denies that he ever microwaved a fetus and stirred it into his lunch because he's vegetarian. Krishna Rajanna was quoted as saying...
He says that the accusation comes from a disgruntled employee. Again I point you to the Kansas police testimony. (PDF format) Even if he did eat the fetus there are no laws on the books in Kansas prohibiting the eating of a fetus.
Rajanna's abortion clinic was shut down because of appalling conditions and eventually he lost his right to practice in Kansas. While he denies eating the fetus he does admit to keeping fetuses in styrofoam cups in the refrigerator along with food and drink. Hippocrates is rolling in his grave.

He arrested in Becker County, Minn., in April for allegedly molesting a 7-year-old boy the previous July, and served 14 years in prison for raping at 14-year-old boy in Washington state in 1980, when Duncan himself was only 16.
Capt. Wolfinger said Duncan had also recently been arrested for a sexual offense in Michigan.
More reason to keep child molesters locked away forever.

The teen described her attacker as a black man in his 20s who stands about 5 foot 10 inches tall with a muscular build. He has shoulder-length dreads and has gold teeth on top and one gold tooth on the bottom. He also has scars on his lower back.

Reason to Blow Up The World: Not only for the boy being shot but also for the stepfather, who was the intended target for taking off and leaving his stepson to almost bleed to death. As someone who is a stepfather I would never abandon either of my stepkids like that. You make me physically sick and I hope the police find you. Please resist arrest when they do. Sheriff: 9-year-old kills mother, self:
Reason to Blow Up the World: This is more sad than anything. What reason could a 9-year-old boy possibly have for killing his mother then himself? I guess there's probably more to this story than we know but still this tragedy is heart wrenching no matter how you look at it. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of the victims.
