Father Accused Of Assaulting Baby Girl:

Reason to Blow Up the World...

CREIGHTON, Mo. -- A 3-month-old baby in Cass County suffered brain trauma and broken bones, and prosecutors said the girl's father is responsible.

The girl's father is in custody, accused of violently shaking her.

Grandmother Barbara Sites said her daughter, Brandy, lived in her home with the baby's father, Brian Kariuki, 20.

Sites said that on Friday, the girl started having seizures.

"Her left side seemed to do this jerk, even her tongue was just going like this and we didn't know what was going on," Sites said.

They rushed the infant to the hospital. Later, they were told she suffered brain trauma and broken bones.

She said Kariuki has been tired from working the overnight shift at his job.

Millions of people work overnight shifts and never shake their baby to the point where they have brain trauma and seizures.

One point for the shaking, another point for the broken bones, another point for being a crybaby about your one shift job, and one last point for just being an all round horrid excuse for a father. That's four.

Man and Woman Indicted for Training Woman's Child to Be Dominatrix, Selling Her for Other Sex Acts:

Federal prosecutors on Monday unsealed an indictment against a man and woman accused of training the woman's child to be a dominatrix, selling her services and photographing some of the acts.

U.S. Attorney John Wood said the case is the first in which a parent of the victim has been charged with the commercial sex trafficking of his or her own minor child.

Todd B. Barkau, 35, of New York, and the 44-year-old mother were charged in the seven-count indictment. Both used to live in Blue Springs, Mo. in the same household.

From Jan. 1, 2002, until Feb. 20, 2005, Barkau created a venture to entice the minor to engage in commercial sex acts, according to the indictment.

"The court filings allege that Barkau obtained control of a 12-year-old girl and he groomed, trained and forced her to become a sexual dominatrix," Wood said at a news conference in Kansas City on Monday.

The indictment accused Barkau of training the girl, starting in 2000, and forcing her to engage in sex acts with him and with other men while he watched. According to the indictment, Barkau also had the girl watch pornography on the Internet to teach technique and skills.

Barkau is also accused of later creating a business out of a Blue Springs home when the girl was 14 and marketing her as a 19-to-20-year-old BDSM dominatrix on the Internet for about two years. The domain name has since been sold, Wood said.

Wood said the mother, who lived in Barkau's residence, assisted and encouraged the child to participate.

In the name of all that's holy why in the hell would anyone who dares to call herself a mother allow this to happen to her own 12-year-old daughter? I get the impression it's that she probably has more feelings for her 'man' than she does her own daughter.

One point for allowing your daughter to be prostituted, another point for allowing your 'man' to have sex with her, another point for forcing the girl to watch porn, another point for whoring her out on the internety, and one last for making other pedophile scumbags watch. That's 5.

Barry County investigators say a 16-year-old girl placed her baby in a plastic bag then hid it in her closet. The infant girl was found dead just one day after she was born.

Investigators say it all started in Bentonville, Arkansas. A doctor was treating the teen for a miscarriage. The doctor saw signs that a child was born alive. He called local investigators in Barry County who got permission to search the home.

Investigators say instead of calling an ambulance, the teen gave birth in her mobile home. Epperly says, “The baby was hidden in a closet it was also in a plastic bag." The girl finally told investigators where to find the baby after her doctor called Barry County officials with suspicions. Epperly says, “The doctor said I believe this juvenile has had a baby."

Investigators are questioning the teen's family and friends. Epperly says, “The baby had breathed some but we don't know the exact cause of death."

Investigators don't think family members knew even though the teen's sister helped her clean up a mess. Epperly says, “The sister mentioned seeing a bag and that she didn't see it again." He says the case isn't closed until investigators know exactly how the baby died and who knew she existed.

When something like this happens I normally point out about safe haven laws in the offending state. Both Missouri and Arkansas do have them but it took me forever to find out what exactly those laws are. I couldn't find anything that simply told new mothers where they could drop their baby off and how old the baby can be. So maybe Missouri, or any other state for that matter doesn't make their safe haven laws obvious enough. Maybe within the next coming days and weeks I'll have a page set up that tells the safe haven law in each state in simple plain language. Another reason to blow up the world is that are teens so in fear of their parents that they're so easily willing to kill their own children? If they are then we've failed to do our job as parents.

Reason to Blow Up the World: How about the fact that North Carolina has Safe Surrender laws where they have one week to turn over the baby to the police, hospital, or fire dept., etc. without fear of prosecution. Not only that but wasn't "a woman's right to choose" also supposed to prevent this? I didn't think ditch was one of the choices.

Reason to Blow Up The World: I wasn't going to do this one because the actual crime happened so long ago but the masses have spoken and they believe that this is one of the ultimate Acts of Doom. As we all know by now the body of Precious Doe was identified as Erica Green. But the reason to blow up the world is the fact that anyone no matter how depraved they are could kick a 4 year old girl in the head killing her, then leaving the body sit for 2 days, then removing the head with a pair of hedge clippers. If this was a perfect world when Harrell Johnson is found guilty he'd be executed on the spot.

Reason to blow up the world: Do I even need to say it? A 19 year old girl who by all reports was not under the influence of drugs.....you know what? I can't even bring myself to finish typing that sentence. If anybody ever deserved to be eradicated from the human race it's this girl.

Thousands of sex offenders unaccounted for:

This just makes me sick. According to the article almost 30,000 sex offenders are out there unaccounted for. Apparently the state can't track them once they leave that state. How pathetic is that. Then shouldn't there be a national program to keep track of them? Granted not all of these sex offenders are pedophiles. But ever since Danielle Van Dam was killed it seems like it's been open season on children. The list of disappearances is frightening. Danielle Van Dam, Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis, Elizabeth Smart, and Samantha Runnion. That's just this year alone. Is there something in the water? Is this one of the signs of the Apocalypse? It sure feels like it. Sexual predators, especially ones against children, should not even be let out of jail as far as I'm concerned. And far worse should be done to them. I can only hope that some of those 30,000 sex offenders are missing because they're pushing up daisies.

And now another little girl from St. Louis has been reported missing. As a race of people we don't deserve to exist as long as we have people who prey on children in our ranks. They need to be kept behind bars for good or better yet in a pine box.

This time it was no one's pleasure.
