Suspect Arrested In Murder Of 92-Year-Old Charlotte Woman:
Reason to Blow Up the World...
Police in Charlotte arrested a man in the murder of a 92-year-old grandmother.
Mildred Clontz was returning from church Sunday night when police said a man followed her into her home, stabbed her, then stole her purse.
Police did not say much about the man they arrested Thursday, and asked Eyewitness News not to release his name because they believe he might be linked to other crimes. Investigators said he got out of jail a year ago.
"We can tell you the suspect is a career criminal and his history includes serving 20 years in prison for armed robbery," said Maj. Herald Medlocke.
Since I'm local to this story I can give you a little insight. Charlotte seems to have a never ending revolving door of repeat offenders. I'm pretty sure this guy is just one more of them. For more on crime in Charlotte visit Crime in Charlotte, NC.
One point for the robbery, one point for preying on an elderly woman, another point for the stabbing, and one last point for being a career criminal loser scumbag. That's four.
Thankfully NC still has the death penalty.
