Zarate brothers plead not guilty

Not-guilty pleas in grisly slaying:
From the "You've gotta be fucking kidding me" Dept. comes the story that both Zarate brothers have pleaded not guilty in the murder and dismemberment of 16-year-old Jennifer Parks. So let me get this straight. They invited Jennifer to their house, beat her and stabbed her to death, dismembered her body so that they can store the body in a trunk, stored the trunk in a Jeep for 24 hours and attended a kid's birthday party, then got caught trying to dump her body in the Passaic River, and then they plead not guilty? What possible defense could they have? I guess they figured since the death penalty is off the table they'll take their chances in the trial.

These guys were actually caught WITH the trunk ON the bridge. With the clean-up was chewing gum with the younger one's DNA, for God's sake. Not guilty? Get me on this jury, please. (I shouldn't say that, because I am local to the case...)

There was a "case"on a TV show years ago (L.A. Law?) where two parents were charged with killing their disabled child and each testified that the other had done it; neither was convicted. The of course they were in collusion. Could this be what they're trying to do?

Like the older one acting lke that in jail and then charging that THEY mistreat HIM.

Well, we should be thankful that the f***ers didn't claim insanity or self defense.

And if nothing else, this story reaffirms my conviction that the DP should not be "off the table" for murderers.

I sure don't understand NJ law...it's absolutely crazy the zarate's don't consider themselves guilty. How in the world they think we are going to believe that? Even the boy that helped them said that both zarates killed poor Jennifer. jonathan is probably just saying he suffers from Bipolar just so he can get out of prison. I sure don't believe that he has a desease....and if he does suffer of anything his desease is called CRUELTY. How can someone that has Bipolar plans to seduce a young inocent girl to then get revange before leaving to California. If he really was sick and out of it, he definitly will not dismember Jen's body put it in the trunk, clean up the evidence and attend to his stepsister's birthday party. He probably thought he would not be cought and move to California and probably do the same thing again...who knows if this was his frist time or not??? How could it be posible that his parents or any other member of the house didn't hear anything happenned or smell the blood....didn't he put Jen's body in his father's jeep?? and his father didn't noticed anything??? This is unbelievable!!!!! I'm so glad they got cought, but being in prison is not enough.It's so comfortable for them. They have their meals, and they don't work or study because our taxes are helping for all of this. This is not a good was to pay for what they did. For heavens sake!!They took a life!! Mr. & Mrs. Parks my heart is with you. You are in my prayers and believe me the zarates will sooner or later get what they deserve.

I understand the little bastards have court on March 13. I sure hope they get the Death Penalty. I dated one of the zarate's and I'm glad they are where they belong. I'll be praying so that march 13 will be a day in favor of our dear Jennifer.

yes i kno these boys did wrong but none you you pple are no to judge them...yeah they took something away that only God has the rigth to take away, but dont judge...let GOd do the judging...ive known these boiz and there family practically all my life n i couldnt believe it either wen i found out, but wut i think wut they need rigth now is support theyve been thru so much shit all their life n u guys kno wut even tho im so not related to them in n e sort of way i love these bois n i always keep them in my prayers n if God wants them to have the privilage to get out of jail again i can asure all of u that i will be one of the many pple that love tem so much to be there n welcome them bakk to the outter world!!!

gracey, I try to be Christian and believe some actions are only for God to judge, but your connection to these boys is making you BLIND.
