Four men wearing dark clothing, gloves and ski masks entered the home about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report. They came through an unlocked patio door and tied up a 35-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman who is a friend of his.
The second woman and her son arrived later, after she finished a 12-hour work shift. She said one intruder hid behind the front door and put a gun to her head as she walked in.
They grabbed the toddler and put him in a bedroom, she said. The men forced her and the other woman to undress and assaulted them.
The robbers beat the man and stabbed him in the lower back and buttocks, according to reports. The man suffered minor injuries.
The robbers talked about killing the victims but decided not to follow through, the younger woman said. They spent hours ransacking the home, repeatedly asking the victims: "Where's the money at?"
To make matters worse these scumbags are still at large.
