Esmie Tseng's website

I originally told you about Esmie Tseng here. She was the 16-year-old girl from Kansas who allegedly stabbed her mother, Shu Yi Zhang, to death. At that time I asked if anybody knew what her website was. I got an e-mail giving me a link to her Livejournal which according to the e-mail was shut down by a friend of her's that knew the password. I did a little more digging and I found a Google cached version of her Xanga site. Nothing of any great note. Nothing that would lead you to believe the crime she's been accused of committing.

Reason to Blow Up the World: The article isn't too forthcoming with motive details but since prosecutors are wanting to try her as an adult we can possibly rule out self-defense. Anyway for the fact that this 16-year-old girl, Esmie Tseng, would stab her own mother, Shu Yi Zhang, repeatedly. If tried as an adult she could be sentenced to life. The article says that she had a web site (probably myspace or something like that).

Insanity Plea for Jonathan Zarate?

The other day I told you about the case of Jonathan Zarate who killed and dismembered 16-year-old Jennifer Parks, then hid her body in the back of his dad's jeep for a day. Well now the defense attorney says that he might be going for an insanity defense. That seems to be all the rage lately.

"From what I've heard, he was in an uncontrolled rage," Fusco told The New York Times. "There was nothing going on that you can point to and say they were fighting or something happened between the two of them."

That's just more reason to lock him up. Better yet, stuff his ass into a steamer trunk then dump him into the Hudson in February.

He's not insane. He carried out a very precise and well thought out crime. Sadistic psychopath? Yes. Insane? Hardly.

Hurt Feelings (Fawn Trivette)

Police: Man Killed Fiancé Because She "Hurt His Feelings":
Reason to Blow Up the World: The fact that this guy, Christopher Dunsmoor, killed his fiancé, Fawn Trivette, with a katana because she said something that "really hurt his feelings". This coward violently snuffed out the life of a promising and talented artist all because his feelings were hurt. I have a feeling a lot more than his feelings will be hurt in prison.

My condolences and prayers go out to the friends and family of Fawn Trivette.

Jonathan Zarate

Invited her to watch TV, then stuffed cut-up body in trunk:
Reason to Blow Up The World: The fact that this scumbag, Jonathan A. Zarate, invited the victim over to his house then stabbed her, dismembered her body, stashed in a steamer trunk, then left the trunk in his dad's jeep for a day while a freaking birthday party was being held at the house. Too bad New Jersey is unlikely to execute. This guy was made for the death sentence.

My condolences and prayers go out to the family and friends of Jennifer Parks.
